I have been given the opportunity of a lifetime to visit Mozambique with WaterAid in October 2016. I will be representing Southern Water.
If you know me, you know I’m behind the times. When everyone got an iphone, I was still rocking the Nokia brick. I wouldn’t know Facetime if it hit me in the face. But here I am about to launch my vlog.
But this is not about me.
This is about wanting to share the stories of the people that I will meet in Mozambique. This is about hoping you will be interested to find out about the reality of life without access to clean water in Mozambique. This is about our world in the year 2016, where I can become a YouTuber, but 1 in 3 people do not have access to a safe toilet.
“Of the world’s seven billion people, six billion have mobile phones. However, only 4.5 billion have access to toilets or latrines” Jan Eliasson, United Nations, 2013
This is about sharing with you, who are so kind as to read, watch and listen, the work that WaterAid are doing. Because WaterAid’s work will inspire.
